Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to the Launchwell mobile app and related services (“Launchwell,” “we,” “us”). By using Launchwell you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Launchwell.
1. Who Launchwell is for
Launchwell is for parents and caregivers who are 18 or older. Children may take part in lessons that a parent or caregiver leads, but children should not use Launchwell on their own. You are responsible for how Launchwell is used on your devices and with your family.
2. Lessons are guidance, not professional advice
Launchwell lessons and Guided Audio are general educational guidance to help parents teach life skills. They are not medical, psychological, legal, financial, or safety-professional advice, and they do not replace your own judgment or supervision. You decide whether a lesson suits your child’s age, abilities, and situation.
- For lessons involving safety (for example kitchen, water, road, or online safety), supervise your child and follow local rules and product instructions.
- If you are worried about a child’s health, wellbeing, or safety, contact a qualified professional. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
3. Your account
You can use the written lessons without an account. Some features, including Launchwell Premium, require signing in with Google or Apple. Keep your sign-in secure, and tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else has used your account. You can delete your account at any time; see Delete account.
4. Launchwell Premium subscription
The complete written curriculum is free. Launchwell Premium is an optional paid subscription that adds Guided Audio for lessons, downloads for offline listening, and an ad-free experience.
- Billing: Premium is sold through Google Play or the Apple App Store and is charged to the payment method on that store account. The price is shown before you confirm and may vary by country.
- Automatic renewal: Premium renews automatically each month until you cancel. It is charged at the start of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it renews.
- Cancelling: Cancel anytime in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions) or in your Apple ID subscription settings. Premium stays on until the end of the period you have paid for. Deleting the app or your Launchwell account does not cancel the subscription by itself.
- Refunds: Purchases are handled by Google or Apple under their refund policies. Contact us if something went wrong and we will help where we can.
- Price changes: If the price changes, the store will tell you in advance as its rules require, and you can cancel before the new price applies.
- Your account: Premium is linked to the Launchwell account you were signed in to when you subscribed, so it can follow you to your other devices.
5. Ads
The free version of Launchwell may show ads at breaks between lessons, for example after a lesson ends. Premium removes ads. Ads are provided by Google, subject to the privacy choices described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Acceptable use
Please don’t misuse Launchwell. For example, don’t:
- copy, resell, or redistribute lessons or Guided Audio outside your own family’s use;
- try to get around Premium, access other people’s accounts, or interfere with the app or its servers;
- use Launchwell in a way that breaks the law or harms a child.
7. Our content
Launchwell, including its lessons, audio, text, and design, belongs to Launchwell or its licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable permission to use it for your family while you follow these Terms.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep Launchwell available and accurate, but it is provided “as is” and may sometimes be unavailable, change, or contain mistakes. We may update lessons and features over time.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Launchwell is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for harm resulting from how a lesson is applied. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be limited.
10. Ending use
You can stop using Launchwell at any time. We may suspend access if these Terms are seriously broken. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as sections 7 and 9) continue to apply.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as Launchwell evolves. We will change the effective date above and, for material changes, let you know in the app or by other reasonable means.
